most of my favorite stories have a moment where something turns and you—the reader, the listener, the one on the edge of your seat—have the instinctive reaction to incredulously ask of the character, the author, and the story: "wait, you what?" does your writing need to have this element to be good? no! not at all! this is just an explanation for the site name and a glimpse of who i am. and also a way to fill some digital-visual real estate.
